we have successfully returned for our weeknd trip up to Frisco, TX.
We arrived Friday afternoon to the campgrounds and were joined by Jennifer and Jason, along with their 10yr old nephew Mayfield, as well as Brent 'n Sheree with their 3 boys, Blaine, Cole, and Zac. We swam in the warm (a bit too warm) water and took a few spins on the boat pulling the kids on the tube before setting up camp for the night.
It was a sweaty evening (in the low 90's) and without the luxury of AC or fans, was not a comfortable nights sleep. We made it thought the evening in our sauna...errr tent, and arose the next morning early, prepared some breakfast tacos and enjoyed the rest of the day outdoors on the boat, in the water and hanging in the shade. A few more of Jennifer's friends arrived with kids in tow. By nightfall Kayla and Kendra had made about 10 new friends. We look forward to taking them camping again soon. But will most likely hold off until the early spring or fall when the temps are a bit more bearable.
