We spent the holidays with our texas family, celebrated Christmas eve at our home with a tasty meal of mexican food prepared by Crystals mom. Christmas morning was spent at the house opening gifts with the girls and a noon mass that only one of them made it through. For New Years we headed out to cousin Georges where we rang it in with a hearty meal of black eyed peas, beef stew and tamales and fireworks!( my favorite).
We have had some visitors, cats from the neighbor hood, who routinely show up at our back door step when i am feeding the girls breakfast. after after request from Kayla for "Dada milk, milk cat". Well i gave in and am now feed them every morning along with the girls.
Tomorrow we hit the road and drive out to Chandler, AZ to see Crystals Grandparents / aunts/ Uncles/ and Cousins. Only about 1100miles.easy after our 1700mile trek from Nyack to San Antonio.

Cat maybe you should learn to readKayla has also picked up a new habit or twirling her hair as she goes to bed, or maybe when she awakes, either way it is a challenge to de-tangle, so far i am winning. This is how her hair looked this afternoon when i went into her room after her nap. Nice huh?
