Kendra's Baptism

We held Kendra's baptism this weekend at St Augustine's Church in Larchmont. The same church where I was baptized long ago, and the site of Kayla's baptism. My sister and Crystal's brother Bill honored us by being the godparents. It was a nice brief ceremony during which Kendra was very well behaved and my mother entertained Kayla who enjoyed running through the cavernous church. Following the baptism we had a great meal and Trattoria Vivolo. It was a perfect day and a lot of fun.... well except for 2 1/2 hr, 22 mile drive back across the Tappan Zee Bridge, I think that although John Hyland's cab driver got lost taking him to the airport, he was able to make it back to Buffalo before we got home to Nyack.
Thanks to all who were able to be a part of this day in person or in spirit.
